Feast in the Hesychasterion of Saint Seraphim of Sarov
in Skouriotissa

On January 2, 2019 near Skouriotissa the feast of St. Seraphim of Sarov was brightly celebrated in the Hesychasterion dedicated to him.

His Eminence Neophytos the Metropolitan of Morphou accompanied by the hegumen of the Holy Monastery of St. George Mavrovouni Father Symeon, the abbot of the Hesychasterion Archimandrite Ambrose and numerous clergymen of the diocese led the Festive Vespers and Divine Liturgy in the presence of many faithful from the various parts of Cyprus.

On Wednesday, July 18, 2018, in the athmosphere of deep feelings and magnifience an All-Night Vigil was celebrated for the feast of the uncovering of the relics of St. Seraphim of Sarov and the memory of St. Macrina in the Hesychasterion of St. Seraphim in Skouriotissa

The Service of The Opening of the Doors (Thyranoixia) was conducted at our Hesychasterion with exceptional splendor, on July 18, 2017, the eve of the celebration of the Uncovering of the Relics of St. Seraphim of Sarov. His Eminence, the Metropolitan of Morphou, Neophytos, accompanied by the Abbot of the Hesychasterion, Archimandrite Ambrose and numerous clergymen of the diocese, in the presence of many faithful from various parts of Cyprus celebrated the Service of The Opening of the Doors of the newly-constructed church of Saint Seraphim of Sarov followed by a festive All-Night Vigil.
